Traffic is pretty slow on this site, think it's time to delete it... What do you think?

MrE2Me2- 08-02-2006

Hey Grasshopper, You posted,”Traffic is pretty slow on this site, think it's time to delete it... “ Then you ask what we thought. I did a quick count of the views of this site last night (well early this morning really.). They come to just over 7700 views in just over a month. That is 443 articles, nearly 400 replies and over 3/4s of 10,000 views in one month alone. Seriously, I think we have a bunch of lurkers here. My handy dandy calculator tells me that we are viewing this site at a rate of slightly more than 240 hits a day. All this and only 22 registered users??? I don’t buy that. And while I’m pontificating let me add this. I am glad to see a site devoted to the students of Moh that is courteous. It is very cool to come here, the only forum for this type of Kempo, on the net. Ya, and I know I’m one of the more prolific posters here…right now. Remember that we are all terribly gun shy around here. Just give it time and you may be pleasantly surprised. Regards, MrE2Me2

Hello Current Student, If you go to the "memberlist" at the top of the page, you can see this for yourself. Also, there are at least 2 others who are closing rapidly. And 2 behind them who are also making their voices heard. I think it is great! Regards, MrE2Me2

Yen Hui- 08-25-2006
a great Confucian sage
I think this is a great Forum! Thanks for keeping it up long enough for me to find it and read-up on a few things. Hope it sticks around for a long time. Since my arrival, I've spent all my time in the History Forum, and am just now starting to get around to reading the other threads. I hope to contribute the odd post, or two, wherever and whenever I can. For the few who might be wondering, incidentally, 'Yen Hui' is not my real name. I borrowed it (as well as my signature) from 'The Great Treatise' of the Wilhelm/Baynes edition of the I Ching. Tradition has it that Yen Hui was Confucius' favorite student. And next to Mencius (i.e. Master Men), he is regarded as Confucius' greatest student as well, though he never transmitted any writings to posterity.
