Hello Sifu Shawn, Thanks for taking the time to respond to each of my comments and queries. I see what you mean about the roundhouse kick. I also notice that even when you use counter torque, your hands up at all times. I do not spar very often with weapons so I don’t have that experience to draw from. Although I have done so in the past, it was with padded pcv piping. When I perform weapons training: I find that various weapons have a different feel to them. A heavy staff lands differently that a light one (the momentum factor). Do you ever practice solo drills with heavier weapons than rattan? (Again, no disrespect is intended, I’m merely curious.) Hello Grasshopper, Sifu Shawn posted, “This would never have been possible without your Mammoth effort right from day 1. Thank you.” I heartily second that. Regards, MrE2Me2

Thanks, i use the stick to enhance my "sticky hands" placing the stick upright and simple circling hands around the stick while walking around. Changing different directions frequently.

To all, Tonight, I have a different stick form. Here is a vid of Sifu Sblano performing a double stick form taught to brown belts. He is performing it in very hot and humid conditions (hence no top). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMVNUpgpIUU Regards, MrE2Me2

Very interesting. It seems to be either a blend of Kali and Karate. Or perhaps a butterfly knife form with sticks being used. Curious if this form is traditional or modern??? Is it of Moo origin??? sifu shawn

This form was shown to me from Master O’Brien. It is not a traditional form. It is a modern form. Si-Fu Shawn you are correct this is a blend of Kali and Karate.
