Sifu Fred and the Moh Connection
To all, This is a current picture of Sifu Fred Whiting. It is the only picture I have ever seen of him, online. Today he is a renowned demonstrator, referee and acknowledged expert on Wu Shu. At one time he taught Wu Shu professionally in Richmond. Fred was hired by Wayne in the old Vancouver studio around 1981 (or so). Fred was there to teach Wayne and us traditional Kung Fu. At that time, Fred had trained in various forms of Kung Fu. He had trained in traditional Kung Fu for about ten years at that point. These styles included Pak Sing Choy Lay Fut and Wing Chun. He also showed us a bunch of Traditional Chinese Weapons forms. Then at one point, he went to communist China and learned Wu Shu. He then came back to Canada and shared his new found knowledge with us. He stayed with Simon Kung Fu Studios Vancouver (inc.) for about a year or so.
