Shalom
Shalom is a great book. I found it the most enjoyable of O.E. Simon's work. It has such vivid and detailed descrptions of the russian prison camp. I truly believe the stories about Simon's time in a prison camp after reading the detail in Shalom. I found his adventure series far less descriptive.

I also really enjoyed Shalom, I agree that the adventure series, particulairly the second and third book, have a very convoluted style and were at times somewhat tedious to read... Not sure I agree with you re: To Hell With Canada???

To Hell with Canada? Well it's hardly what a Buddhist would be writing! Shalom was actually well written, just not my type of story! Everything else, well I wouldn't buy it! Too bad I did :lol:

Hey Think about it. To Hell With Canada Even the name is controversial. Thats what GM wanted I think. It was meant as food for thought. It was meant to spark discussion.
