Scott Rogers
I was looking for some good clips of Chin Na techniques on youtube to share here with the intention of explaining how Chin Na locks and takedowns can also be used from the ground to move an attacker off of you or disable them. I came across several clips from a fellow named Master Scott Rogers. The following clip shows him very clearly teaching knife hands into joint. At one point in the clip he crosses his arms into what is very clearly Calming the Ocean from the 18 temple motions. (He even has the right arm to the inside) There are some sweeping palm blocks as well. Scott Rogers is "Rogers is a 4th Dan Black Belt Master Rank in Okinawan Kempo and an expert in Kyushojutsu. He has also attained a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Korean Taekwondo, 1st Dan Black Belt in Japanese Taijutsu. Rogers has also cross trained in several other arts, most notably western boxing and Wing Chun Kung Fu." Anyhow check out the clip and the similarities in movement. I had said before that I see Kenpo/Kempo as 1 single style. I submit this as some measure of proof towards that end. I think it very obviously shows the similarities to anyone who trained even just to green belt or so. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qn96vBt4ht4&mode=related&search=

This one shows Combative Bow mixed with some wing chun stepping as opposed to sliding back to a bow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kj2PpK7LQ3A&mode=related&search=

Hello North, You posted, “Anyhow check out the clip and the similarities in movement.” That says it all, as far as I’m concerned. Regards, MrE2Me2 Without prejudice E&OE
