Grasshopper, I'm putting you back on the list. This is, after all, a list of Mo Black belts. You and I are both 2nd degree's here. That's a black belt where I come from. Regards, MrE2Me2

To All, You know, ANYONE can post here. It doesn't have to be just Gasshopper, Sifu Shawn or myself. If you know someone who has achieved a black belt in Mo. Please post it. Also, if you know something else about it, please share. Regards, MrE2Me2

Well since you insist! :D When I first joined Energy Lake, the Head Instructor, a man by the name of Stevens or Stevenson(can't remember) was a blue sash. I understand he did most of his training in Calgary or Edmonton. Now whether he was training under Simon or Leishman, I don't know. He was out their in the early 80's, maybe someone can fill in the gaps. He was originally from Lyndsey, Ontario.

Hello Cam, Thank you for your response. Much appreciated. Regards, MrE2Me2

Have you contacted each of these individuals to obtain written permission to post their names on the internet, and have you provided the moderator with copies? You can't be too careful. There are some litigious people out there. RD Hey RD, MrE2Me2 is a moderator... Do you really think someone will sue for being put on a Black Belt list in a style which they obviously did achieve a black belt? Come on now, people need to lighten up. PS - Welcome to the forum.

MrE2Me2- 09-15-2006

Hello RD, Welcome to the forum. I have lurked at the other forum and seen your posts. I know that you and grasshopper have talked before. And I can appreciate it when you say that there are people who would be worried. As I see it, this is part of the problem: No one wants to come out and say,”Hey! I am a student of Mo and I’m proud of it!” Every time someone has tried, up until now, it has ended badly. This forum is our first seriously moderated attempt at communicating. But I think we have shown that we have an agenda that is quite clear. “Mo is a Good art, the old biz was Bad (and over) and the Tales are just that…Tales.” None the less, if you are worried, keep your list for awhile. When you are reassured that the danger is less, pm it to me or grasshopper. We’ll post it or even a list of the initials, from an “unnamed source” I am not condescending here; I am trying to allay your worries. Regards, MrE2Me2

To all I do agree that RD has a point. There was legislation passed that makes this kind of thing illegal. And as you stated mr E2Me2, there are people who dont want to stand up and say " I am a student of Mo". And may not want to be affiliated with it. There are definite legal action that can be taken ( I run a painting company, I am not aloud to give out customer phone numbers or anything without permission). Because a lot of these people who hate the biz model, and therefore hate TKF and GM Simon and everything in between, could turn this site into something we do not want it to be.. sifu shawn

Grasshopper, Do you really think someone will sue for being put on a Black Belt list in a style which they obviously did achieve a black belt? Come on now, people need to lighten up. I agree with you, maybe more than anyone that people need to lighten up. however with the amount of Anti Simon people out there , they might try anything to vent there frustration about Simon. That could even mean legal action against this forum, as has been suggested. Remember the laws are not there to protect the people trying to make the world a better place. sifu shawn.

MrE2Me2- 09-15-2006

To all, After some consideration, Thank you RD. I have taken all first names off of the Mo Black Belt List. It was an idea that Sifu Shawn had based on what RD posted. Better safe than sorry. Regards, MrE2Me2 p.s., On a lighter note: I have a wonderful name for our tree. The Mo Pai Kempo Kung fu Black Belt Family Tree House That is MPKKFTH for short!!!

Sifu shawn- 09-16-2006
