How many have this problem?
To all, Recently, the "guest" counter at the bottom of the forum page quit working for me. Now I know that it still does work for Grasshopper (I asked). And I also know that the total number of guests continues to be added on. But when I open the forum, it reads as though there is no one online including guests! I should read that at least I'm online if I'm only a guest. But it won't until I login. I posted about this problem on another forum dedicated to moderators and administrators. This isn't an unusual problem, either. Unfortunately, I have not heard back from them, yet. How many others are having this problem? Regards, MrE2Me2

Hello 92, Thanks for the quick comeback. When I first encountered this, I was very surprised. For the first 9 months I was online, I knew how many guests were viewing. As I stated, I have asked about this at another forum. When they get back to me, I’ll let you know what I find out. All I can say, for sure, is that the counter is only partially broken, It still records how many people view a thread. (Just not while they are viewing it.) it always shows my name when I am logged in, however it tends to always show 1 guest as well. I am strating to think I am the registered user AND the guest because of the fact it always appears this way.

Hello North, I have not had that problem (and hopefully I won’t). I’m just glad that the one I had is now fixed. I must admit, it was beginning to annoy me to not see anyone lurking. Regards, MrE2Me2
