Hello Cam, I tend to agree with your comments. Technically, the moves are correct. But I have real problems with what I saw. I don't believe it would work. The defenses were too slow and awkward. Regards, MrE2Me2

To all, Is the “Dimmak” real???? I found this when uploading at “YouTube”. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ar1yXYOsxQk&mode=related&search= Regards, MrE2Me2 p.s., I don't happen to believe it, just so we are clear here.

TKF_PHS- 08-29-2006

Looks like a bunch of garbage to me. He states that it only works against 40% of the people out there but couldn't put down one single BJJ student, LOL!!!

TKF_PHS- 08-29-2006

Oh yrah...he also stated that it doesn't work all that well against athletes...let's hope that he only gets into altercations with couch potatos.

MrE2Me2- 08-29-2006

TKF_PHS, I got that the "human stun gun" did not go to near athletes. Probably the buffet table, But not athletes. To all, Here is one you might call, Kiss and Goodnight http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDHiiAda9SI&mode=related&search= Regards, MrE2Me2

To all, I have for you today, a mixed bag. The first three are not the most shining examples of MA that I’ve ever seen. 1. In need of some temper control. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-Bg6I5YWdk 2. I’m groin to win at any cost. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4XfmaJPeA4 3. The title says it all http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRYKN9N0bnI The next three are just the opposite. 1. An awesome possum! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xaO-kHZvHo 2. Bok Mei Kung Fu http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEL_GpG15dg 3. This guy is Fast! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAw3UofFo4A&mode=related&search= Regards, MrE2Me2

To all, Did someone mention Bruce Lee? Just as an aside, Bruce and I share the same birthday, but he was born in the year of the Dragon, and I, most unfortunately, in the year of the Rat. ~ Yen Hui

Hello Yen Hui, I only have one more of Bruce. It is his screen test from 1964. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUW9Iuuoujg On a slightly different note. Here is one of Dan Inosanto giving a lesson on JKD. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20HlyP14Ndc Regards, MrE2Me2

To all, The first time I saw a cut kick, I had little defense. A cut kick http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6DeojLNT_M&mode=related&search= A block for it that ends in a break (Caution! This is Nasty!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xK2b_ih70vs&NR The first time I saw Muay Thai, it looked very elemental (kinda like this). Black and White around the ring http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4H9v69igvo&mode=related&search= Regards, MrE2Me2

hi there MrE2Me2 ~ ouuch, that looks bad! Still, though, I've never been impressed with Thai Kickboxing, and after seeing these clips, I still feel the same. My feeling is that if the dude with the snapped leg had known Iron Shirt Kung-fu, his leg would never have broken like that. According to the ancient teachings, which, I admit, are hard at best for most of us moderns to accept, the Greater Harmony we can chieve with the Laws of Nature, the more invincible we become on the field of battle. What I'd like to really see, is a refereed match between 1 Thai Boxing Champ and 5 solid (seasoned) black belts, trained in the Iron Shirt Art. I wonder how long he'd last? As always, many thanks for the cool clips! ~ Yen Hui

As always, many thanks for the cool clips! ~ Yen Hui LOL! I know it's a dumb question, as 1 would be enough to annhilate the dude, and in record time, too, I imagine! The ability truly to develop and crystalize the chi force should not be doubted, not even for a second, in my opinion. That is not to say there is'nt a need to strengthen the body as well, but I find it hard to believe the dude with the leg problem did'nt have a strong body. There is no question about it, about him having a strong body. The problem is that it was too strong, too brittle, too snapable, as they say. This reflects a great imbalance in his holistic focus and awareness, and a great weakening of his shield; but, hey, that 's just an opinion, for whatever its worth. I know such ideas are not much held or believed by today's tournament people, but there are a few out there who still firmly think such beliefs are not based way out in fantasy. ~ Yen Hui
