Deception and Betrayal

I agree Betrayal and Deception have been the worst enemies of Mo Kempo. I suppose you maybe surprised to hear that from person still training at TKF. Some say it's GMS who lied to everyone and misrepresented what he was teaching. Some say it was Master Peircy who created a secretive atmosphere to try and isolate GMS from the studios. Some say it's past students misrepresenting and making things up to discredit. Some say it's all part of a long time secret conspiracy. I've heard all these accusations before. It's probably a little of each except for maybe the last one I mentioned. I know a lot of the hard core anti-TKF guys just want to blame it all on GMS, and I understand that. The thing is nobody has been able make solid proof that GMS lied about his background and the origins of Mo Kempo. I agree there is little to prove it true either. There are a lot of people that attest that the system is sound, that's probably the most important thing from a practitioners standpoint. I suspect if there is hard proof of GMS claims he has them in stored away somewhere. I doubt there is any proof for some stuff. I can't see much surviving from before the war if anything at all.

Hello Current Student, Thank you for your response on this early Sunday morning. No, actually I’m not surprised by too much anymore. I really hope that you are right. I hope that the new administration is as good as you think. As for proof and blame, I generally regard these as legal terms, As far as I am concerned, it is all about responsibility. I really don’t give a rats behind whether Olaf and Doreen. If they are gone, then good riddance to them. I am much more concerned about something else. I don’t want the mistakes of the past be repeated by current administrators. I posted about deception and betrayal for one major reason. An open discourse is the surest way to stop sneaky, devious behavior. Quite frankly, I'm relieved that the members here do NOT agree with each other. Direct questions and straight answers do not make for good deception. Are there any other opinions?

I hope they make it too, but I'm quite confident they will. I know what you mean about the mistakes of the past. I'm pretty sure if the Webber administration had lasted much longer I would have left TKF. I'm thinking, but I can't speak for them, that likely the people who are owners currently would have left too.
