Changes to the forum? Just had a thought.
Change this forum to be more broad based. The focus being on Moh Kempo, American Kempo, Kung Fu etc.
Discusions about lineage of O. Simon, E. Parker and his many descendants etc.
Current Student, cam & MrE2Me2 have me thinking that there are few 'honest" forums out there that talk openely about all the controversy surrounding Kempo, not just Temple Kung Fu. Either they are too negative or too polite.
Maybe we should take this to the next level.
What do you think?

Hello Grasshopper,
I think that we're already moving in that general direction.
I believe that we should keep the thrust of the forum on TKF.
Imho, other influences and forms of kempo/kenpo will make their influence felt here.
I believe you have the right idea.
I just think it will go that way naturally.

Yeah,
I'm not talking about removing anything that has already been posted, just maybe altering the title of the forum and broadening/ changing how the discussion groups are laid out to be open to more than just TKF and anti-TKF rhetoric.
cam has made several referances to the controversy surrounding Kenpo in general, I'm thinking of going in that direction.
It may also increase the traffic on the forum and generate/ stimulate the conversations so they are not so black & white (pro vs. anti TKFers)

Hello Grasshopper,
I have thought about it a bit.
I still think that is where we are headed.
Maybe we can change the name to,” The Moh Kempo forum".
It is just a thought.
This forum thrives on controversy.
Of that, there is little doubt.
I’d still like to see the primary thrust of the forum be towards Moh.
But we, as an art, are connected to other Kempo / Kenpo systems.

Made a few more adjustments to the forum index today.
If anyone has more suggestions or complaints, please send me a private messsage.
Thanks

I sometimes want to discuss things from other styles but there is only the "Style you train now" section for that.
It seems almost like the focus of this board is a bit too much on TKF and Moh. (I understand that IS the focus) however It would be nice to have a section like "Martial arts tips and/or advice" or "Current training experiences."
Somewhere that should see alot of use and isn't about TKF, unless someone wants to post tips and or techniques etc they like from the TKF system.
Just a thought. "Style you train now" does seem to cover that but it is way down at the bottem and seems more of a place to post where people went after TKF, thus tying it to TKF like the other threads.
For a messageboard to thrive it needs a bit more to talk about than just TKF. Especially considering TKF itself is not altogether thriving it seems.
Hello Grasshopper,
I did notice them and I liked your changes.
I think we are moving in the right direction overall.

Point Taken.
Same to you MrE2ME2.
Look for more possible changes soon.

It's a work in progress, but I have begun to make some more significant changes.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
